Niall de Búrca, Seanchaí Visits our School by Aisling Browne
We were delighted to have the legendary Niall de Búrca, Irelands finest storyteller, on Tuesday 7th of September. Niall, who has travelled the world as a storyteller, had students and staff in the palm of his hand and the edge of their seats as he mesmerized everybody with a variety of tales. We were so lucky to have the best day possible chosen for Niall’s visit as all the junior years and the TY’s got to experience a thrilling and enjoyable storytelling session alfresco!
As the seanfhocail goes, “An té a bhíonn siúlach, bhíonn scéalach”, and Niall certainly has a wealth of tales to tell!
